Iridium has announced its new range of thin and light, high performance portable notebooks for the channel. The Starbook 620 series offers an unprecedented combination of features that maximise the benefits of mobility.

The new Starbook 620 featuring the Mobile Intel Pentium 4 processor –M is the slimmest P4 notebook in the world at only 25mm and weighing 2.4kg. Other highlights include; fully integrated wireless communication, IEEE 1394 Firewire, 10/100Mbps LAN and 56k Modem. In addition the Starbook 620 will support up to 1Gb DDR RAM, up to 60Gb HDD and will feature a modular COMBO drive ( swappable with 2nd battery allowing up to 6 hours battery life).
