Iridium has unveiled the Starbook 620 series which comes equipped with a Mobile Intel Pentium 4 processor (up to 2.2Ghz), supports up to 1Gb double data rate(DDR) synchronous DRAM and features a crisp 14in XGA TFT display and CD-RW/DVD combo drive.

In addition, the Starbook 620 includes a V.90 intergrated modem, 10/100Base T Ethernet, three USB ports and an IEEE 1394 Firewire digital interface for quick and easy video and photography transfer. The product weighs 2.4kg with a form factor of 25mm. Iridium supplies a one-year collect and return warranty on its notebooks as standard. The 620 has a wide target audience and is worth a look……..
