this is a fantastic idea. Take a 2.4GHz Pentium 4 PC and add
a 15” TFT display, DVD/CDRW combo
drive and 80GB hard drive. Then add the capacity to play FM radio
and watch cable TV, and shoehorn it all into an area smaller
that a CRT monitor and what you end up with is the fantastic
AVPC. Basically an all-in-one home-entertainment tool for TV,
CD, MP3, DVD, radio, games and Internet, the remarkable thing
about AVPC is its price.
